Easter sunrise (Apr 8)
Come and gather with us on Gellért hill as we watch the sunrise on Easter Sunday Morning (April 8).
We will be gathering on the northern side of Gellért Hill, at a lookout over the city that's bordered by Hegyalija út and Sánc utca. (This is the same place we went to last year in 2011). The sun rise will be rising at 6:08am. To view the map of the location, please click here.
Meeting time and place: 5:30 to 5:40am at the Rudas Gyógyfürdő (Baths). This is a stop for Buses 7, 86, 173, and stops for trams 18, 19 and 41 are close-by.
Or you can make your own way to the look-out (get off at Sánc utca stop) :
- Bus 8 or 112 from Astoria and Ferenciek tere
- Bus 27 from Móricz Zsigmond körtér
- Bus 178 from Keleti, Blaha Lujza tér, Astoria and Ferenciek tere
