21 day interdenominational prayer and fasting (Jan 8–28)

From Jan 8 a 3-week long inderdenominational prayer and fasting has started. Several churches will start a full or partial fasting and pray for the same prayer requests.

Our church will join this initiative.

We encourage everybody, if the Lord is leading you, to join us in a form of prayer and fasting that you feel free to do (fasting can be abandoning any kind of time consuming activity or thing by practicing self-control to spend time with the Lord in prayer.) We are aware that not everybody is able to fast with food for several days, so it is up to you  when and how long you are fasting abstaining from what thing (food or other)

Before Sunday nights at 6 pm we are going to pray for the topics of that week. Below you can read a letter of the prayer and fasting initiative and its topics and timing.

“In each city and area the local churches decide how to organize the forms of prayer, and whether to join other churches for organizing prayer meetings for the three weeks. Churches can broaden the prayer topics according to the local needs of their area.

The suggested form of fasting in the first week is juice fasting and the second and third week is "Danial fasting" but each church and brother should feel free in the Lord in the form of fasting.

You can share your vision and experience and keep an ongoing contact on this page: imabojt.blog.hu
